With the hustle and bustle of life and the new year you can lose sight of what is important, your health.  No one can take care of you better than you. And, if anything happens to you there is no one who can help you get better but you, (and God of course.)

So what do you do to make sure you are taking care of YOU? Here is my daily recipe:

AM: What to do in the Morning

Pray: Give the Lord thanks and ask Him to order your steps for the day. Ask Him to allow you to accomplish all that you are supposed to accomplish that day, and to be a blessing to someone. Ask Him to forgive you for your sins, and that He takes care of you and teaches you how to take care of you.

Read: Read a positive verse that gets you through the day.

Drink: 8 – 12oz of water which will rid your body of any toxins from the previous day and hydrate your body for the day ahead. Continue to drink water throughout the day to stay hydrated.

Eat: A balanced breakfast

Take your Vitamins: Vitamin C is very important. A multi vitamin is good as well. Vitamins are supplements that help you stay healthy and keep you looking good. They cover all of the nutrients that you may not get in your meals.

Exercise: Try to do some sort of activity or exercise for 30 minutes to an hour at least 5 – 6 days a week.

 PM: What to do before you go to bed.  

Take your Vitamins: If you don’t take vitamins in the morning take them in the evening. There are some supplements that should be taken in the evening. Please read the directions on the vitamin bottles to make sure you are taking the right amount of vitamins and that you are taking them at the right time.

Wash your Face and Brush your Teeth: The worst thing to do is to leave your make-up on and fall a sleep. Make up clogs your pores which causes you to have pimples, acne, and bad skin. Wash your face before you go to bed even if you did not wear makeup that day. After you wash your face use a good moisturizer for your night cream. You will wake up with soft, moisturized, beautiful skin.

Brushing your teeth is just a must. You don’t want to go to bed with food that you’ve been eating all day, and you also don’t want to create any cavities. So, please brush your teeth before you go to bed and when you get up. J

Get at least 6  – 8 Hours of Sleep: A lady must always get their beauty rest. Nothing fights aging and sickness than rest. So  get your rest so that you can stay beautiful and healthy.
